APPEAL FOR RIOTS HIT PEOPLE IN ASSAM
Namaste,
We are all aware of the massive riots which
shook our brothers and sisters in Assam last month. Since the 20th of
July when the orgy of violence began in lower Assam and Kokrajhar town,
more than 170,000 people have fled their homes, with at least 500
villages in Kokrajhar and Chirang districts reduced to cinders.

Seva reiterates its commitment to provide relief to people in distress
through this appeal. We request all of you to come forward and
contribute whole-heartedly to this noble cause.
